DCI or Drum Corps International is a marching band that 15?-21 year old people to do marching band. I plan on auditioning for one in February. Hopefully if I do make it I can still let everyone know how I am doing :D

I wish you luck with your auditions.

Two of my high school marching band's staff are in drum corps. One plays trumpet and is in the Cadets and the other plays percussion and is in Jersey Surf. Other staff members have been in other corps. I unfortunately have yet to see any of them perform irl, which is sad considering they come to a local stadium every summer. I really need to do that before I go off to college. I did see the Blue Knights practice visual stuff when they stayed on my school's campus.

I would love to audition for one, but 1) I probably can't hack it partly because I get lazy in the off season and, as a result, start getting light-headed when I stand still and play and am generally out of shape and 2) I don't play brass or percussion and don't plan on playing them any time soon (I see myself strictly woodwinds).
