For the Canada comment, well this happened last year but they had an influx of people that they couldn't handle it and they had to send them down here and we had to take care of them, yet they say they're still better because they're more compassionate even though we took care of their patients.

The truth is a goomba isn't it, oh and we have better doctors so I'd pay more to live longer.

The government will have paid for the expenses in the United States if they couldn't handle the surplus of patients in Canada. Your doctors got paid their usual amount when they took care of those Canadian patients, I can promise you this, so do not go on about how compassionate your rich doctors are.

And our doctors recieve the same education as yours, thanks.

So because our doctors are rich they aren't compassionate, and just because they got the same education, doesn't make them just as good, we have proven to have the better doctors, don't make me laugh. If we weren't here then you guys would of had patients you guys couldn't take care of it. Our doctors are sorry for saving people life, they don't deserve money, because saving people lives is useless.

The U.S. because of the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. People from all over the world go there, including a visit 6 month ago by the leader of Iraq. Our doctors are much better, more compassionate, and more deserving. Just because your health care is universal doesn't make them the most compassionate, just because you guys paid for the expenses when you sent them over, your more compassionate. NO it doesn't we had to take care of them. Any body can pay someone else to do it, just because you paid to have someone do your job doesn't make you more compassionate, don't be arrogant.

And an American doctor will have made more money from treating those patients than a Canadian doctor would have gotten paid because the expense rates are higher in the United States.
Let's show compassion to the Canadians and let them use our facilities at an inflated rate. So lovely.

No, we are more "compassionate" because we garuntee all citizens the right to free healthcare and subsequently the right to live despite how much money they have. If that means utilising American facilities and paying extra for it, then so be it.

So because our doctors are rich they aren't compassionate

I'm sure they're just as compassionate as ours. Who would become a doctor just for the money? That's sick.

Quote:

What exactly makes them better then?

Emm, excusez-moi...?

Absolutely nothing. I think both American AND Canadian Doctors are pretty much equal when it comes to Doctoring skills.

I didn't really get this either... who on earth would be thinking, "Curses... I just saved another life... I need to go stab myself again..."

That made me lawl too.

Josh, America is the Capital of Arrogance. If you live here you should know that. It's not unpatriotic to say that... because it's the truth. And one thing America should never do... is lie. Especially when we're talking about ourselves. We are an Arrogant, proud, obnoxious, power-hungry country that probably needs to be taken down a few notches. But for some strange reason I still love this country and it's ideals. So what I'm trying to say is Josh, you're obviously an American (no non-citizen of the US would speak so highly of it), as am I, and I'm asking you to please get off your high horse and try not to diss the Canadian Doctors because there are no worse or better than our doctors. That whole don't be arrogant statement was a wee bit hypocritical darling.

Seriously, because you accept all patients you think your more compassionate, the U.S patients live longer then any other on the planet. and you guys are more compassionate cause you accept all, more of your patients die, so don't say our doctors are equal.

WE LIVE THE LONGEST, but that probably has nothing to do with our doctors and your doctors are obviously more compassionate though their patients don't live as long. Next time you say your doctors are just as good, look at the facts.

Actually, Canada's life expectancy is 80.3 years, whereas USA is 78.

And my source: http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0004393.html

Oh, but next time I will definitely check my facts.

edit: woops, that's the 2007 one. Silly me. Here is the 2008. http://www.infoplease.com/world/statist ... tancy.html

Oh, lookie. 81.2 vs. 78.1. Must be on the rise! How nice for us.

no no no that isn't what I meant though. Of course we don't live the longest, we have the most murders, rape, kidnapping and the most pollution not only that but the most most fast food chains and most importantly we're in a war. I may of phrased it wrong, but besides Cuba(well Cuba has the best surgeons ) the US has the most skilled doctors. I should of phrased it better.

No you don't.

Rape is lethal? And no, you don't.

kidnapping

Where do you get these facts from?

Not Japan? China? No? Kay...

not only that but the most most fast food chains

Well, that might be true. You certainly own them all.

and most importantly we're in a war.

Along with many other countries. Like Canada! We're stationed in Afghanistan right now.

If all of those were facts, I would be vastly curious as to why you continue to live in such a terrible country and I would wonder why the average age of death isn't much lower.

I just love how you told me to check my facts. CANNOT get over that. Josh, I -- I think I'm falling for you.
