Yes, I know there's a better spot for this, but this is my topic and if I feel the need to switch trains-of-thought for a brief moment, I sure no one's going to take that much offence to it.
Besides, this topic is about my making a St.M.Bros game, so to post a Mario-themed game isn't too far off topic anyway.

Whatever. You've got a point none-the-less, so I'll listen to it.

And before anyone comments: I just noticed I spelt "Aerial" wrong (areal? :oops: ).

Alright, here's something all of you could help me out with:

At the end of a normal level in a Mario-type game, there's normally something to mark it or do for a bonus, you all follow me, right? What should be done at the end of a normal stage in St.M.Bros? It could be universal (for all characters) or unique for the character type (a Mario End-Level Marker, a Pokemon End-Level Marker, etc.).

My ideas right now:
1) For Mario characters, they could jump for a Flag-Pole (Not very original. I'd like another idea for this one).
2) For Pokemon characters, they could catch a pokemon at the end of a stage (I don't know how to do this, but it could work. Ideas for how this should be done would be nice).
3) For a Link (only Zelda character), he could find something and hold it above his head and say "DA-NA-NA-NA!" (I like this one :lol:)

All other ideas are more then welcome.
So please, start posting and let me be swamped with ideas.

Mario Chars- how about a standstill backflip into a peace sign pose w/ fireworks?

Pokemon- the throw their pokedex in the air it opens and a badge appears in the shape of one of the char's head?

Link- nothing beats the awsomeness of the DA-NA-NA-NA.

Thanks to those that have given their ideas thus far.
My thoughts as of now:

Mario: The flag pole could very well work now that I think about it. Anything that involves jumping is a good idea, really.

Pokemon: They should probably catch a pokemon or something (probably Pikachu) and then do the pokemon dance.

Link: DA-NA-NA-NA!

All characters will have a "End Level Pose" or something like that when they finish. If they have an "End Level Event", I don't know.
This is hard to come up with actually.

More ideas anybody?

Glad you liked it.
And, no, you do have to download it because of the program I use to make games. It's the only way to post them (that I know of) for others to play.
If it could be posted without the need to download it, I'd make it that way, but for now that works fine.

You should expect the St.M.Bros game to be the same way.
