I know its a little late 4 this kind of thought and this sounded a little stupid at first but,....

What if this Shadow Mario from StMB was the one from Super Mario Sunshine, and it turned out 2 b Bowser Jr.?
Sure, Our SM is gothic while the other one was blue and had a long tongue, but think about the possibilities.
Bowser and SM r on the same side (against Mario and friends).

I call the stupid mario bros. shadow mario "dark mario" because he's made from the darkness, unlike shadow mario who is made of paint.

That and various times on the forums. Shadow Mario is The Darkness, not Bowser Jr.

We never call him shadow Mario in the series, We just call him that on here so you know who we are talking about. The characters only refer to him as darkness.

i know ur right, its just i normally dont have ppl looking out 4 me. Im not used 2 it. Its nice 2 know i have ppl looking out 4 me somewhere...

I've got another idea what could happen. Dark Mario goes to the vessel, says he is the real mario, and puts Nox Decious soul ( somehow ) into the vessel. Then he infultrates Mario's team, and makes that everyone hate each other. And Nox Decious helps him with that. So then they even dont know that the vessel is taken over by Nox Decious!!! Until Merlin ( or someone else ) tells them.
