Wonderful sarcasm.

Where has this been said in the thread? It's nice to know people read through a topic before posting.

If your going to comment, leave a constructed answer, not a massive block of text.

Well no one has said that but overall many are having these preconceived notions that science and evolution are the same. Haha thx I love saying sarcastic statements in text. Well I'm sorry my massive text wasn't supported when I was saying something quite clear. Here I will say it in one sentence for you what I said. Evolution is a theory: Creation is a theory: Intelligent Design is a theory etc: most of them should all be mentioned if you want to have an unbiased educational system. Now that was statement. What needed to be "supported"? Do I need a premise with of course an implication to lead to a proof I did not intend? Or did my sarcastic statement, which I admit was blunt but I like internet sarcasm, avert your attention to what I said in the text, after the sarcasm is that what you were referring to was not supported?

Creationism has even less "evidence" than evolution. The website you have supplied re-affirms that creationism is religious and not scientific by using the bible to back itself up. Show me a purely scientific website in favour of creationism!

Secularism is the key! That is why creationism isn't taught in schools; creationism relies on *faith*, whereas evolution offers us evidence; fossils, carbon dating, adaptations in animal behaviour as observed in the present; heck, even human wisdom teeth (or lack thereof) are considored evidence of evolution. For example, those who don't grow wisdom teeth are considored genetically superior. and for those of us who grow them, what few of us actually keep our wisdom teeth? Only the few who it doesn't bother. Wisdom teeth are now a human imperfection, slowly but surely becoming less common amongst our species.

And it should be mentioned that kids don't believe everything they learn in school. They don't even REMEMBER what they learn in school.

I never actually had any lessons on evolution. I remember being taught creationism at a very young age in catholic school, but we never touched apon the subject in my highschool education.

I don't mean to sound rude here.

But very little of this made sense.
"implication to lead to a proof I did not intend?" :| What?!!

Well, the funny thing is, I believe in both creationism and secularism. Just think about it: What if there was a being that made the universe, and then set it into motion, leaving everyhing to evolve itself. It's possible God made everything, and let humans evolve. Ever think about it like that?
