Hey guys! I know some of you do cosplay. I'm currently making movies (similar to stmb) with different video game characters. I was wondering if you could give me some tips in making the costumes. Any help is appreciated, but I would prefer it if you could give me tips on making a costume of Zack Fair (from crisis core), solid snake (obviously MGS), or link (zelda).

I cosplayed as Blue Link once for a halloween party =P
it's a Froob Cosplay thow
but it was a cheap cosplay and i used black leather insted of brown but i used what i could find in my house insted of buying stuff and i should have taken my glasses off XD
I had no way of attaching my sword and sheild to my back >.>. My sheild was made of card board and an old watch band that i panited and i sigjest you make it out of something better. i was cheap with my sword too >.> i used a RenFest Wooden sword.
i used my black arm socks, elbow leigth sleeve white buttend shirt, some old belts, My wallet, white pajama pants, long Black boots, i got my hat from a friend's zelda theamed birthday party beleive it or not and the tunic is just a baggy shirt with a V-neck. >.> i don't think that i did a good job, not at all but atleast it was cheap.
At least you know what not to do from my cheapness.

A cheap costume is buying a 6 buck black wig and a two buck white shirt and covering your face with white base and black eyeliner.
Yes it was L.
... Don't judge me. I'm poor and it was short notice. I plan on being a character from Pokemon Pearl this Halloween!

Anyway, I suggest you look through what you own first and run through places that sell cloths to find stuff that could be used as costume pieces before you actually start making bits for the costume. Once you've done that go to Hobby Lobby or Joannnas(?) or whatever hobby store located near you and find where they keep all the patterns, find any patterns you need, figure out how much fabric you need, grab any nick nacks you need, and then go home and make it.

Thanks guys for all your help. I'll certainly try to amke these costumes even if it may be a long and difficult task.

It would be so much simpler if I had a friend that was blond.....lol
