Windows 7- is it worth the upgrade?

ok, starting tomorrow, June 26, people who have vista home premium can get windows 7 for $49. people with ultimate or something like that can get 7 ultimate for $99. what i want to know is if it is worth my $50 to get microsoft's new OS. so, can any of you guys who have the RC or something tell me some stuff that would make me really want to buy it and convince my dad most of all?

depending on what you want to use your pc

definately, if you want to use it for work and web
windows 7 runs faster, is more stable, is more user friendly and looks better(in my opinion)

i wouldnt upgrade if you are a gamer,
windows 7 might not support all games
if you are a gamer you should check which games are supported and which ones are not.

What you just said above is the same thing that happens with most vista PC's

If you have XP, mabey.
If you have Vista, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

VISTA SUCKS. PC World says that 7 is basically what vista should have been.
