Probably most everyone is fine with it, it just really bugs me. I think most threads would be a lot cleaner and easier to read if the signatures were limited to smaller size image, and only one at that.
That's just my opinion.

I agree completely. The avatars are controlled, but people just use urls for sigs, so there's no limit to the size.
If you think about it, it's basically the same as spam. Just an unecessary amount of space being taken up for no more reason than to advertise your username, which can be clearly seen. The more I think about it, the more I think it's ridiculous!
However, that wouldn't leave my sig out, eh? Only, my sig is fairly small. Oh, and it HAS a purpose: to advertise the CC. So, I'd say mine is within reason, but as for others out there...

Ya, your sig is probably the perfect size... 100X400, right? That's the size limit I've seen a a lot of forums. I highly suggest we go with that.

Well, probably what's more annoying then big sigs is lots of big sigs together. I'm thinking mainly of *cough* AdminAdam.

well if you're talking abou the cat macros then I'm not getting rid of them. They've been around forever and no one's getting rid of them. As for the forum awars, I just resized them so they don't take up as much space.
