Sorry about the delayed upload! We had some technical issues rendering out the video today, so it took a while before we were able to get everything rendered out properly.

Well, it's getting interesting now!

I am a little surprised that the Koopa hired what looks like dumb muscle to be his right hand. But you could be going for a Bane look...

Well damn this just keeps getting better. As usual the pacing is as fast and gripping as expected.

Mayor Carson is most definitely a scumbag. Good job to Scott for pulling that off  But also giving him that scared look when the Goombas find him.

Actually I really have to give you some credit on how dark this show really is by now, it's really showing its true colours. From Carson's implied death to Jeckle's rather disturbing love of violence (seriously though I have to give props all round cause he is seriously freaky.)

And Gibbs is now Commissioner, yay! Now he fits the entire character mold.

I love that cliffhanger though. Gibbs better live Richie :grr:

Also a minor question, what exactly is the vision that Mario sees when he puts on the goggles? Is it X-Ray vision or something different? I'm only asking cause it seemed like he could've been able to sense that bomb depending on what kind of vision those goggles gave him.

I apologize that I haven't been able to give you guys any feedback for the past episodes (aside from the Pilot.) I've been extremely busy with work and college equally. All I can say is that I really enjoy what you have done so far, how you show Clause with his mask off, Denise shooting first, Denise as a character, and a lot of the drama. It's just really well thought out that you're taking any opportunity that you can take.

Now as for Episode 5, I really like this episode for so many reasons. I did point out that you guys did seem to go for more of a psychological terror approach for the Goombas, and I was right. But the way you handle it is so well done. The moment where we pause on Mayor Carson, and there's no line of dialogue, I was saying to myself, "that's a perfect reaction to a situation like this!" The guy is an scumbag and quite an ass, but you do feel legitimately sorry for him in that moment. Especially since we're not answered on whether if he's dead or alive, so that raises questions that don't need to be answered. It just makes the suspense more great.

I also like the one bit where Mario is barely conscious and his vision is not only blurry, but we have that high pitch sound that we would usually get if we hear loud noises or suffer from some extreme pain. It's a realistic great addition for Mario's point of view.

I also like Jeckel's character so far. He would be the perfect torturer for any kind of terrorism. He lacks the patience and the art of suffering, and just wants to crave the suffering of others. His interest for violence, and for the fact that we have yet to know what he's going to do to Commissioner Gibbs. As sociopaths go, I'm curious to see how far you'll go with this character.

The cliffhanger is really great, and it got me hyped for the next episode! This is not only fresh and new RMA, but I definitely think it deserves another Season!

As for problems, it's hard to me to think of any at the moment with this episode, so I really have nothing negative to say.
Although I will say that due to possible the rendering issues or some other thing, the video is in 360 quality, so that's as high as we can watch it. I'm surprised not many people have brought it up considering JR who I'm friends with on Facebook said he got the same thing as well. I was still able to watch the episode and enjoy it for what it had to offer, so the lower quality is no big deal.

Sometimes its only in 360 for the first couple hours. Its in 1080 for me.

EDIT: Actually you guys were right. Usually its only locked on 360 for a couple hours. For some reason it still is. Possibly because of our uploading issues. I was confident that it would fix otself, but i guess i spoke too soon lol. Well, hopefully at some point this week it will fix itself, otherwise we may reupload this episode when we upload episode 6, Stay Tuned!!

Wow! Hard to believe we are halfway through the season already! I'm glad that we have not been overloaded with clues as to the Koopa's identity yet, it really gives people plenty of time to speculate. I even feel like the action is being relatively well placed. Season 5 of SMB, was great, but there can be no doubt that a plethora of episodes would pass before any real action could take place. Even in an episode with no fights at all, the bomb scene was just enough to make me feel like Mario is indeed vulnerable, rather than some unstoppable force like he has been.

Moving on to some precise things I liked; I really loved the scene where the bomb detonated, the effect and sounds that were used really added to the moment for me. Jeckle was really well portrayed and I actually took him pretty seriously (much to my surprise). Lines between Mario and Denise were pleasant and its nice to see Mario act caring and hesitant in all of his actions.

Once again, not to many things bothered me and certainly nothing made me feel as if the episode were ruined or anything. One problem I did notice was a few awkward pauses located throughout this episode. The mayor's reaction to the goombas and the goombas taunting the injured Mario to name just a couple. I know you probably put it there in order to let the moment sink in and not feel rushed, but it can also come off as awkward if not done correctly. My only other issue was the talk with the mayor. I just feel like it was rushed a bit to much. The mayor hardly resisted and Mario came off a bit TO much like a jerk rather than intimidating.

Another excellent episode overall guys, I'm sure the following one will be sure to knock the rest out of the park thanks to Jeckle. I give this episode an 8 out of 10.

Despite wrapping up my semester, real life continues to eat up quite a bit of my time. So another short review!

I thought this was a pretty solid episode. The reasons for the mayor stepping down are acceptable, but if he knows how powerful the Koopa is, (which would mean a potentially more gruesome death, and Mario admitting he will be killed by the Koopa by stepping down), I'm surprised he wouldn't just take death from Mario since (as painful as he might make it), Koopa would/will end up being worse. But, I suppose getting to live a few hours more and potentially getting out of the city is a good enough reason to do it. Although a cop or two escorting him out, and then being knocked out/killed, and then the mayor is taken may have made it perfect.

Other than that, nothing big to comment on. I give the MVP Actor Award for this episode to whoever played new minion #2.
