So, as some people know, I'm making a sequel to Stupid Mario Brothers titled "Saving the Lands" that I'm aiming to release Summer 2014. I felt like giving this site a new topic after the desert-like qualities this place has become thanks to the ending of the great RMA Productions show. So here's an update for those that still check this place.

First off, the show takes place one century after Stupid Mario Brothers containing descendants of the original heroes and heroes that could've been thought about introducing in StMB. Ganondorf is considered a hero since he wants to dominate the world himself, not the main antagonist, Tabuu.

Secondly, I'm still hoping that Richie would be willing to do voice-over work and green screen work. He'd be playing a special character during Seasons 4 and 5. Speaking of StMB cast, I'd also like Chris and Julian to be involved for the opening of Episode 1 as Luigi and Snake respectively (along with Richie as Mario).

Third, I'd like LordGavin to do the special effects for the show. The lightsa-- *ahem* the beam swords, the fireballs, etc. Dude, what you did with those short clips of The Darkness were amazing. If you're willing to do the special effects for this show, I'll let you make the episodes look as awesome as you can make it!

Finally, I'd like you guys to subscribe to 'STLcreator' for when the show starts.

Also, Richie; what's a 2-3 minute fight theme/song that you'd recommend for the

Link vs. Sombre (the next Darkness)
fight during Episode 15, the Season Finale?

sounds pretty cool! Richie seems to be pretty busy with other things right now, but who knows! It would be awesome to hear him to a voice-over or be a character. I've made a series before, and it's not easy. But I wish you good luck!

Well, it's been in the works for many years, so hopefully it'll all go well. Thanks for the good luck, haha.

By the way, Richie is well aware of the show. He said he'd be willing to in June right before the last episode of StMB came out.

are you still working on this? 'cause i checked out the yt-channel and subscribed and it sounds awesome, i like the idea and the fact that Richie's in on it makes it just so much better, but it was 5 months since you made any kind of an update soooo... again is this still in progress or what? :)

Yes, we're just waiting on summer to film. We'll begin funding mid-March. I'll be make an update on the project as soon as I can.

Also, you're going to have to wait on confirmation from Richie. He hasn't spoken to me directly about this since I posted this topic. I keep reminding him on the Facebook page, but I get no response. I hope this update video will get his attention back up.

Keep an eye out for that update. We'll discuss funding there too, not that it just sporadically appears on Kickstarter or whatever.

(We need you, Richie and Chris!)

Also, that update will be both on my main channel (1996isover) and the 'STLcreator' channel.
