***Guidelines to Creating a successful RPG***

Now as you are all aware, A Lady's Quest has dominated in the Sign-Up RPGs. This is not by pure luck. This is by dedicated Story writers coming together and exchanging thoughts and concerns on how the RPG would look if this or that was posted. So here are some Guidelines for you.

1. Chat about the RPG with your fellow RPG buddies. The ones who are in the RPG, preferably. Talk about how the story will look and sound if this or that was posted. Remember, one twist can kill an RPG. That is why it is important to discuss everything with everyone who is in that RPG.

2. If someone makes a mistake, Let hem/her know first hand. Don't say something like "MISTAKE THERE FIX IT NAO OR I WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR INTERNETZ!" Be polite about it. You do not want to scare away anyone vital to an RPG.

3. Everyone's opinion matters. If there is someone who does not like your idea, go a little further into depth about your idea and let them know about what they are not getting.

4. Musical posts - Musical posts are allowed, but they would be much better if they actually fit the post. It's one thing if the music fits the post about what is happening, but it's another thing about timing. You gotta think about the speed the reader is reading and listening or vice versa. Try reading through at different speeds and see if the music still fits the post in both music and timing.

5. Going off topic or Breaking the 4th wall can make the post seem much less professional. Yes, I know you are all here because of StMB or RichAlvarez, so you are all used to randomness, but say your story gets published. Any public readers would be confused about what just happened. Try to keep the story sticking to the plot.

That's all I got. If anyone would like to add anything that I have missed, Please be my guest.

This is your Sign-Up RPG Buddy, Snertz, Signing out!

just thought i should say, i agree with all that my collleague has stated. That being said, if anyone wants help starting/working on an RPG, come to me or Snertz for help! we are open to do such a work, really! ---Cap
