Samus Aran and Black Knight (Is this a character thread?)

Hey guys, just letting you know a bit of my plans for those who are interested. Im a visual effects artist, and I am currently working on a small bit of youtube fun. I am making two fake trailers for two non-appearing characters (They might be, I don't know whats in the planning process) for the rest of the Stupid Mario Brothers movie. The first trailer is for Samus Aran from the Metroid
Series (armored, not zero-suit) and the second is for the Black Knight/Zelgius from the Fire Emblem series.

The costumes and weapons are already made (Not some cheap crappy rip-off, they are our convention going costumes). I finally finished a visor overlay and realistic Charging Power beam effect in AE (it took some experimentation), so the Samus one will look good after post-production. I am in the middle of making a Black Knight teleportation effect.

Just letting everyone know that if you like one of these two characters, but Richard's team doesnt have the time or the money (Understandable, I spent several hundred dollars and 4 months making my costume alone) to create them, you'll at least have the possibility to see them outside of the planned Stupid Mario Bros universe. I'll be putting a notification of the fact of it being fanmade at the end since im not trying to leech the teams ideas. Simply, I am waiting for a response for my next FX project, and wanted to do somthing fun in the meantime.

Samus will be first since she is more complex. I have to rotoscope some of her glowing green lights once I finish the filming. So, she will be up Sunday, that is unless I get some roto work from Wieber. Black Knight would be 3 days after that, because I am remaking his gloves to have better grips.

I didn't know that Ryan Wieber took requests... cool! but you always feel more accomplished if you do them yourself. I made a 20 second lightsaber video and I felt really good about it!

Hes recruting a team of FX artists for Ryan vs Brandon 2. I decided to put in my app. for the heck of it.

Any way, filming for samus will be done today and I can then start FX editing.

Edit: OH! Wiimaster you misunderstood me. I wasnt saying I was giving Wieber the FX to do for me, I was saying unless I got a scene to edit from Wieber (If you didnt get that from my first responde)
