I give it a 9.7/10. I really enjoyed this game. Graphics were good, but as PBJ said they looked kinda fake, but hey! Mario games have always looked cartoonish. Gameplay is amazing, I luv the gravatiy in levels like "Darkness on the Horizon" (BOwser's Dark Matter Plant) as in the actual level. Music is great too. THe only thing I could have asked for is a little more intricacy to the levels. Anyone remember when you actually had to aim the canon? now the "shooting" star just aims for you, the levels are quite as intricate as in Super Mario 64, the only levels that are better than 64 is the boss levels. I was glad however, to be able to stop collecting 100 coins for a star. I beat both galaxy and 64 compoletely, getting all those coins got ANNOYING!

Played it at a friends house for a good long while, so here it goes.

Story/Plot: 1/10 - It's the same story over and over. I've never expected anything new from Mario, but this one was just plain boring.

Graphics: 9/10 - For the Wii, these are great graphics. Although I'm a PC gamer, I'll give the game designers credit where it's due.

Music: 6/10 - Music? What music. Very similiar to other Mario soundtracks. Nothing spectacular or truly unique about it. Fun, but nothing special.

Gameplay: 7/10 - Interesting. But it came out a bit unfinished, feeling far too easy and leaving some levels to short, and making others just feel too long. It's Mario in his usual routine, what else can I say?

Over-all: 2 1/2 out of 5 - It was a fun game with very cute graphics, but it didn't keep me interested in the game very long. The gameplay felt unfinished and rough compared to other Action-Adventure Platformer (this category being used in the lightest of ways for the gamed) for the Wii. Get me back to Brawl, I need more action.

I completely beat this game with both Mario and Luigi. I give the game 1000/10! it is THE BEST GAME EVER!!! easily beats Mario 64 by alot, I hated collecting 100 coins. the game is revolutionary in itself. the graphics are the best on Wii, reason being because Brawl has lots of 2-d graphics, it isn't pure 3-d. The only complaint that I have against the game is that the bosses and a few of the levels are a little too easy, like the final boss was a piece of cake. but Galaxy 2 should be harder!

what about Twilight Princess? I think SMG graphics were way too cartoony to be considered good.

Mr. Obama, I also believe that this game was better than sm64, but far from the best mario game of all time. I think that award would have to go to smb 3 or smw.

This is by far the worst Mario game I have ever played. In fact I'd go as far as saying that this was the worst game I've ever played, followed closely by Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
