Hello newbie, my name is MM, "leader" of the Jump-in RPG's. I am one of the most experienced members of the Jump-in RPG's and I have been here for over 1,5 years now. I would like to comment and add some rules or simply explain how things go out here. Also I'll add some rules on how to behave, because I am really ticked off by some of you (you can't help it, so I'll help you)

1. Fix your grammar and text style.

I'm just going to quote someone, NOTHING PERSONAL, on this one. Maner, you're new, so there's nothing wrong about this. Just try to fix it...after a while

It really is just a classical newbie's mistake. No problem, just start using Capital Letters :'s ;'s ,'s and mwahhahaha is written like MUA HA HA HA!

now, let me add an example of how it's done:

Look at the use of everything, and learn to use it yourself.

2. Don't resurrect old RPG's.

There are some good ones out there that just never made it. Don't go acting like a necromancer and DO NOT resurrect them. Some ones are just ment to be like that, and stay unharmed. If you really want to ressurect and old RPG, I suggest that you message either me or NethaEmerald, Cap or Snertz, the mods of these forums. I would suggest NethaEmerald, since he's most likely the most frequent mod visiter of the Jump IN RPG's. (P.S. Netha can you sticky this?)

3. The starter of the RPG is named the "RPG head"

This is not an official rule, but this is how things go out here. When you start an RPG, YOU will be appointed to be the most important member of the RPG, and you will be required to lay down the rules (or if it's an rule-less RPG, ignore that), PM people if they did something wrong in their post, and offer explenations to anyone who requests you by PM. This doesn't happen often, but I'm just telling you how it goes when it DOES happen.

4. Godmodding=Out of Order

Godmodding is the practice of taking something or doing something witch ruins the storyline. It is found very annoying by most of the RPG'ers

NAD:Don't worry! I'll fix this!
*NAD jumps 50 feet in the air, and slashes the helicopter in two pieces*

Also, a very imporant one

5. PLAY ACCORDING TO THE RULES!

If someone sets up the rules in the beginning of the RPG, you are supposed to follow them. If you don't the RPG head may issue an ignore against you. This means that whatever you post, it will be ignored by everyone else in the RPG, making it useless to post in it again

note: an ignore issue is only used when someone is REPEATEDELY breaking rules, not for small ones.

6. Get an avatar and a sig

Not really required, but most people like something to look at, and it also adds to your RPG's identity. Just do it, pleaaaaaase? Oh and don't make your signature too big or too large, it doesn't read comfortable at all

7. Keep some space.

There was issued a ban against someone (though it will never got through) because he kept posting just after every post someone else made, like this. There will never be issued a ban again, but you can prevent a lot of frustration by others by preventing this

C;Post

Now, A and C are doing it fine. I prefer to keep at least a two post distance. However, B is "spamming" and will most likely generate some, if not many frustration by the others in the RPG (A,C). Prevent that.

8. Never take anything too seriously.

My final rule will be this. NEVER, EVER,EVER,EVER take something to seriously on these forums, heck, on the internet in GENERAL! Just don't. Bad stuff happened to the persons who did that, and I have the experience to tell you that the bad stuff was...pretty bad.

If you have any rule to add to these 8 of mine, go ahead and paste it in the comments. Any questions, do the same. Any suggestions, do the same. Any remarks....etc. etc. etc.

I'm mariomesser, and now i'm off to the beach ;)

Hmm. I guess this takes the work off me and Cap, but I cannot sticky it, neither can Cap. Only Adam can.

Okay, me and Cap, the moderators here, declare this set of rules as the official rules of the Jump-in rpg's. Once we can arrange it, this thread will be replaced by one posted as a notice (or use this thread) once we (or I) can talk Adam into helping us (or me) out.

Despite the fact I have two problems , these new rules are great!

Rule 1 is a good one, because it's hard to understand what's going on when the grammar is do-do.
