Is Link's cocunut evil

I know this may sound silly but i'm not sure if cocunut is evil. This is because in episode 45 when link was talking to cocunut he didn't want anyone to take the artifact/fireflower from him. Cocunut told him to conceal it within him so no one could take it. This sounds very similar to episode 37 when Merlin was explaining to Mario that Nox Decious used magic to conceal the truth stone within him thus creating the darkness/shadow mario. Does that mean that there might be a second darkness and the cocnut is evil? I'm confused.

Maybe. But coconut needs 2 do something. As much of a fan favorite as coconut is, he's probably going 2 die.

Hmm, that is actually a very interesting theory and the darkness put Coconut there to trick Link. I am not sure but it is a theory.

Nope. I don't think Coconut would have told Link that Steve was going to kill him. Besides, those theories about a second darkness suck, because of the fact that the fire flower has helped Mario a ton, and Merlin was the one who hid it, plus it's not even dark. How could it be evil?
