I tried to make the title as less innapropriate as I could, what do you think about it? I think it's ok if it's with someone you love and not some random person you met at a bar :S.

The only people who will appose this will have religious reasons. Unless y'all have any insight on socio-psychodevelopment.

no. I dont think its right because I'm a Christian and base my life off the Bible and it obviously disagrees with such things. No it should not be illegal. but I disagree with it.

Christianity is NOT the only reason for having special hug until your married. We talked a lot about this in health class. There are a huge number of people out there with STDs because they do not wait. There are also a lot of pregnancys that occur and because you don't have that strong commitment it is hard to have a baby AND abortions can be very hard on a woman's body. An often misperception is that abortions can be very easy things to do even though sometimes they are not. And there are MULTIPLE studies that say the majority of relationships in teens and adults where sexual intercourse has taken place have ended within 3-6 monthes. As much as 66% of people that have special hug regret it because now there is not a lot to look forward to in marriage, which could be a cause of the rising divorce rates. I'm done for now...

HA Abstinence only programs hardly ever work to be honest... I don't think they work. Personally I don't believe in waiting until marriage... What if there's no spark between the two people? And trust me... in the long run that DOES matter. I don't care what any of you think, it does. I don't care if you all wait, that's all well in good but please don't condemn me for not waiting.

It's not really abstinence only. It's saying that there are more benefits from staying abstinent. They do say though that it is your choice. It just seems to me that the more people that have s3x the more that get pregnant or stds. The relationship could even be broken up in my opinon and there are studies to prove it 80% of relationships end within 3-6 monthes after s3x

Of course, as you need to have s3x to get these things.
The problem with abstinence only s3x education is that it only outlines the negative effects of s3x. S3x is pretty fun. But it's a big responsibility. Abstinence only s3x-ed teaches non of the precautions people should take when having s3x, or the steps that need to be taken when problems arise. Waiting untill you are married is not going to help any of these issues.

It leaves people scared and confused, which education should never do.

Yeah there are positives, one it feels AMAZING, and it's been prooven to be healthy and good for you if both of the partners are disease free, it can make a person feel more energetic and can make you lose headaches, it can also help prevent prostate cancer in men.

You know, the absolute way to avoid getting an STD is not to go through with it. If people were to wait until they were married to have special hug, then there wouldn't be any STDs going around. Granted that fact won't change anyone's mind. After all, we have the ability to choose our actions for ourselves.

1. the Bible does say s3x is good (did i say it was bad?)
2. s3x is healthy (did i say it wasn't?)
3. IF both partners are disease free (that's pretty hard to find now-a-days)
4. where did you hear this?

Some STD's can be inherited from your parents. Some of them are just cell mutations. It can happen to anyone.

Waiting untill marriage will not save you from an STD.

You make it seem like every other person is riddled with an std. It's not that bad. If people actually went to the doctors and got tested like they should once they reach sexual maturity (around about the early teens), there would be a hell of a lot less.

S3x, and masturbation can stop cancer in men (and women!). As any foriegn object in the body can potentially be cancerous. Urine and semen can sometimes be left in the body, ejaculation will "flush" your system and clean out your pipes. Of course, it's best to do it on a regular basis to be safe.
Also, your testicals are sperm factorys from the age of about 13, sperm are very strong but have a very short life span, they are also very fragile and can be killed by slight changes in temprature. The dead sperm will usually disolve but sometimes can get clogged in the pipes. And again, masturbation or s3x is needed to clean them out.

Where did we hear this information? They taught it to us in s3x-ed.
