I think a a big blast will come or in other words the gamma ray search on google if you don't know what that is.

Anyone here saw Knowing? Maybe that could happen. For those that didn't an extra powerful ray from the sun will break through the atmosphere, and it will go to the earth's crust. This overwarming will cause everything in the planet to explode and all living things in it to die.

What bum decided that the mayan calendar's end meant anything? He or she has sprouted millions of seeds of ignorance and should be kicked out of society.

I don't know when or why human life will end ... I think if we don't kill ourselves by means of nuclear war, we'll kill ourselves through overpopulation. And if THAT doesn't kill us, inevitable global changes will. IE global warming (and global cooling... which are both natural processes), disease, natural disaster etcetera. I bet it will be some combination of things and not just one thing. A valcano erupting may cause the sun to be blotted out, which would cause an ice age, which would cause famine and death.

As for the world, the planet earth: In a few million years our sun will become a red giant, grow thousands of times its size right now, and consume the earth and surrounding planets, destroying them instantly.

Sorry if I'm sounding condescending, but jeez louise, do a google search before making poopie on someone's idea.

We know about the life cycle of stars because it takes many years for their light to reach our planet. And so over the course of human existance, we have witnessed some stars become red giants and red giants disappearing from the sky. It's not a "science myth". It's a theory, yes, but an educated, thuroughly-studied one.

But, In amillion years, WE May not be here. Im sorry, but If You think the Red Giant is going to ingulp the earth, and all the planets that surround it. But also, as the Mayan Calendar, will cause great destrfuction.

But belief is not enough to make something a valid fact. Due to the past research of red giants etc. i think 1) it's completely possible and probable that the sun will eat teh Earths and 2) THAT. WOULD. BE. AWESOME.
