I'm going to have 2 Thanksgiving dinners actually.

On November 14:

1. Get up and wait till everybodys awake.
2. Get ready
3. Get in the car
4. Drive off to Aunt Lisa's house in Jones County
5. Go in her house where everyone is at
6. Sit around until the foods ready
7. Say prayer
8. Eat food till I get sick
9. Sit around for a while
10. Walk around outside
11. Come back in and eat dessert
12. Chill around till we leave
13. Go home

Thats it for just one day....

However on actual Thanksgiving Day...

1. Get up
2. Wait till everyones awake
3. Get ready
4. Leave to go to Cracker Barrel
5. Order food
6. Eat
7. Leave

And that pretty much raps things up.

Mia, ThanksGiving is :

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. It is a holiday celebrated primarily in Canada and the United States. While perhaps religious in origin, Thanksgiving is now primarily identified as a secular holiday.

Also:
The date and location of the first Thanksgiving celebration is a topic of modest contention. Though the earliest attested Thanksgiving celebration was on September 8, 1565 in what is now Saint Augustine, Florida[1][2], the traditional "first Thanksgiving" is venerated as having occurred at the site of Plymouth Plantation, in 1621. The Plymouth celebration occurred early in the history in one of the original thirteen colonies that became the United States, and this celebration became an important part of the American myth by the 1800s.

This is our family Thanksgiving tradition
Thanksgiving Day
1) wake up 7am
2) clean house (if necessary)
3) cook pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs for family.
4) eat and watch thanksgiving day parade
5) clean dish
6) prepare turkey at about 10 am
7) skip lunch
8) play board games till 3pm
9) peel, dice, and start potatoes for cooking, create stuffed celery (peanut butter on some and cream cheese on others)
10) 6:30pm serve dinner
11) 8pm clean up dinner mess then start a movie
12) 9pm intermission and serve up pie
13) 9:15-30pmish finish movie
14) pending on when the movie ends brush teeth and head for bed.

Day after Thanksgiving
1) wake up 8 or 9
2) make cold cereal
3) clean from last night
4) rearrange furniture to make room for christmas tree
5) Spend rest of day putting up and decorating tree while nibbleing all day on left overs.
6) At about 7pm light up tree and all who can fit lay down with their heads under the tree looking up into and listen to the oldest person in the house read "Babes in Toyland".

and that's our family tradition.
