My name is Anthony and I have been watching Stupid Mario Brothers since September 2010. I had registered on the forum that same year but for some reason I couldn't activate my account.

A little about myself, I recently graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and will be starting my credential and student teaching this fall so that I can become a band director. Besides music I am really big into sports, hiking, and going on random adventures with the friends.

Hey there Anthony, welcome!

I think you'll give Punkcick fits. She (As a joke) dislikes the Tuba, and never fails to remind me, someone who doesn't actually play tuba, about it. It's all good fun. I hope the forums won't die too much with the series having just finished up.

Hey thank you! Haha we'll as a low brass player I prefer the bass instruments :) Tuba is surprisingly a bit difficult for me in my low register even though I play bass trombone. Mi mid and high register is really good though. She has probably never heard the 2nd Movement of the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto. One of the most beautiful and lyrical works for the Tuba.

Viper sure I'll check it out.

That is certainly an interesting Tuba piece. I don't play Tuba myself, but as a Baritone Saxophone, more often than not I have a very similar part to the Tuba.

I've played English Folk Song Suite from Vaughan Williams in band, although I think it was two years ago.

This year was great though, because the band finally got to play at Symphony Hall in Boston. Why am I rambling like this? I should probably stop now. Ok? Cool

Bari Sax huh? Cool!! Try the 2nd movement of the James Barnes 3rd Symphony, it has an awesome Bari sax solo and it's also a great sax feature. Try Bells for Stokowski by Michael Daughtery as well.
