[maner, didn't you read my guidelines on Lord Sephiroth's character? He never shortens words. Out of courtesy, can you please edit that? Thanks!]
"And even if there were, I would not even consider using them." Lord Sephiroth gave an indignant snort.
Tim gasped. "First Vick, now Maner? Oh no... we're doomed... we're all doomed..."
Lord Sephiroth muttered something incomprehensible but Tim didn't pick up on it. He then cleared his throat. "We should hurry and get the Shadow Crystal. Now come, stay close, do not fall behind and follow my instruction." He began to walk forward but Tim stayed put. "Well come on then! Or must I drag you all the way there?"
Tim sighed. "Well... it's just... Oh, never mind! Let's go!" He followed after Lord Sephiroth. The two kept on walking when something jumped out at them. Tim gasped loudly and jumped, whilst Lord Sephiroth just shook his head and sighed.
"Hmm. Just a prop. It seems to be similar to those fake ghost houses that you get quite often in amusement parks. Not like they amuse me much." Casually, Lord Sephiroth kicked the prop ghost aside and carried on.
"Does anything amuse you?" Tim asked.
"Yes, but my idea of amusement may, ah... disgust you, shall we say." Lord Sephiroth looked ahead. "Aha... there is something on this wall here." He went up to it and read it. "Mmm, it says... 'If you wish to see your pathetic little friends again, seek out the hidden passage in the reader's hideaway'. How odd. A riddle."
"Hmm... reader's hideaway? What could that mean?"
"I suppose that one would have to figure its meaning. I have an idea, but I could be wrong." Tim prompted him to continue. "I think it could be referring to a library. Reader's hideaway. Hidden passages tend to be concealed behind bookcases, usually revealed by moving a book or a shelf. I should know, there are several hidden in the library in my castle."
