Going? Going where, exactly?
out to Halloween parties with friends, or to work (some jobs let ya dress up), at home handin out candy, takin little bro/sis trick or treatin. where ever...
I don't know why, I just love Halloween. My mom has a really great morbid sense of humor. We sometimes take our BBQ put some fake body parts on it and set it up to look like we're BBQing someone. Then when the ToTers come by I have on a bloody apron and say "Hey MA! We've got more victims I mean guests for dinner!" some kids run and some just stand there and laugh.
Another year my BF and I dressed up in really baggy clothes and dogpiled newspapers inside of what we were wearing. Then we painted our upper half of our faces black. Took burlap bags cut out holes for the eyes and then put that over our heads with paper shoved in as well. then we sat in lounge chairs by the candy. My mom would send ToTers over to us to grab the candy. Now the one's under 5 we didn't move just let them take the candy and go, but for those who were older we would grab at them, they'd scream take their candy and go. Well this one Dad came up with his son who was like 11 and the son asked his Dad if he'd go get the candy, that we looked to scarry to him. The Dad told him we were just stuffed dummies. He even came over and inspected us, we of course didn't move. We let him poke us with his fingers and all he felt was paper. The Dad goes back and says "See just dummies." The son was like NO! They'll get me. The Dad hung his head and said "Fine, I'll go get the candy." so he walks back over to us to grab the candy, and both my BF and I lung up from our seats groaning!! The poor dad was so scared he pee'd himself and ran away. To our suprise his son was still at the gate just rollin with laughter. We asked him why he wasn't scared and he said that he saw us get set up earlier and knew what to expect, but what he hadn't planned on was his dad's reaction.
I guess gag's like those are one of the reason's why I like Halloween, that and getting dressed up.
