How about one that had a picture of Merlin that has Nilrem=Merlin. Then under that (or on the back) it says 'HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT COMMING?!?!'

Maybe something here will help. I am into law so perhaps there is something in here that makes sense and can help you with copyrights. Images are most likely under the copyright of media or original designs. Not sure...

And if this is just jiberish and not understandable perhaps I can read through it and determine what exactly they are saying. :D If you need help in the Law department just let me know! :D :D

As some of you noticed, only the "killer ties" t-shirts are currently available. This is not an accident. Copy written stuff is an issue right now, and I cannot put any images of us in our costumes because nintendo will sue.

Therefore the killer ties shirt will remain the sole t-shirt until I can think of something.

can't you reason with nintendo to let you put pics of you guys on them? you are technicly advertising mario bros.

I've got a fool-proof idea.

Get a clever RMA studios logo and put an copyrightlss quote underneath

I remember discussing something partially similar to this.. It had to do with the web comic series "The Ten Doctors" which is written by a, in my opinion, more epic Richard than our Mr. Alvarez.
He wanted to be able to produce copies of it to sell to fans. Someone came up with a loop hole about only giving the copies to people who donated a certain amount of money to Rich in order to keep his websites going. However the BBC are far more strict when it comes to their copyrights. Seriously. How long does any show from Britten manage to stay up on youtube?
Anyway, I think he gave up on that because I haven't heard anything about it since before he finished writing "The Ten Doctors" and has put out some PDF thingy for free. However, you can't do that with T-shirts...

Eh, whatever. I'm not sure if what I've said makes any sense but I must say that I agree with Luigifan312. You are technically advertising Nintendo and there's gotta be something under the Fair Use area of copyright law that you can use. I don't think Nintendo even cares though, but I still understand the concern about all this. It would be a tragedy if they got mad about shirts and that somehow lead to the show being taken off youtube, which I doubt would happen, or if they sued, which I also doubt would happen. There's an un-written rule and it is, YOU NEVER SUE POOR PEOPLE!
... Okay it is technically written in a Bloom County book but my point still stands!
I'm in a creative mood anyway so I'll try and come up with some clever designs that Nintendo would have a hard time filing copyright claims about if the saw them and cared.
