For any of you that want an introduction to the vast world of Miashonan and the prime RPG of "A Lady's Quest", here's your easiest means of learning. I have put together an audio/video giving you a summary/commentary of everything that happens.

More parts will most likely come in time.

XD I cracked up the whole way through listening to this. Great summary/ commentary. You have an excellent way of suming it up and poking fun at dropped plot points. The one day when I read through of all of ALQ up to the present (mid chapter 3 at the time) I honestly skipped a few pages at the end of Ch 1 and most of the end of chapter two because I just couldn't get through it. But Chapter Two is when it starts to improve and chapter three is when everyone finally becomes organized with their storytelling. I look forward to hearing your reaction to characters such as Messre and Brendan.

Also if you could could you put all your summary vids in one thread? It'll save some forum space.

Also also, feel free to do this with IoM if you're up to it, preferablly once I post Ch 9. Those stories are shorter but have so much more behind them if you know what I mean.

*Laughs 11 minutes and 13 seconds. Then watches the ending as he reads Adam's post.* Adam already said mainly what I was gonna say. But ya, we are just gonna repeat ourselves with flashbacks/other means in ch.2-5 talking about ch.1 so that's another reason why we say not to read ch. 1 ^_^.

Gavin, I only have one thing to say.

When you reach Shrow'd, I expect to see a lot of mocking on your part.

If he is spared any mocking, I will be displeased.

And with the Tri-God seal of approval, I can continue with my series. How fun. XD

Alright, so if you'd like each video to take place on this topic, that can be done. I'll see if I can remove "Chapter 1" from the title of this topic and I'll edit and put each video in the first posting when they come. I'm glad to hear everyone's enjoyed my work of both summarizing and butchering this RPG's story, as I am having quite a blast doing it. Thanks for the support.

Oh, and as for "Shrow'd"... I don't understand who I'm not supposed to mock less towards, but I'm sure I'll figure out what to do when I reach that. Remember, I have no idea what's going on expect for what I'm reading, and the less spoilers for me, the better these videos will turn out.

That was mighty strange, Gavin.

Not nearly as strange as the trees, though.

Oh I'm not trying to spoil you at all. I understand what you're doing and don't want to mess it up.

I'm just saying that after re-reading many of my older posts, I am very disappointed in myself. I would even go as far as saying I am ashamed with a lot that a wrote.

All I am trying to say is, there is no doubt in my work needs to be bashed to the fullest extent, and if there are any "WTF?!?!?" you have while reading my posts, that I too have the same reaction looking back at it.

Aw... So you want me to bash YOU badly.
Well, that's certainly bound to happen if even you think your posts are worthy of it.

I'm actually thinking once this is more-or-less done (when I catch up basically, or ALQ ends) there should be awards given to worthy RPG members for their... ahem... "contributions". There are both some very good and bad things I've seen come out of people thus far and I think it would be quite an entertaining way to wrap things up in the end (assuming a suitable ending comes).

Anyone supportive of that idea, as far away as it is?

:O YES GAVIN!

Of course the MOST esteemed award is the "Strangest Tree" award. :3

OMG I almost died of laughter!!! Especially at that Alf remark. "He makes Jesus Christ look like a monk!" LOL I never realized I made him that strange. But none-the-less... Not as strange as that tree! XD Looking forward to some more!!

Well Snertz, if I may state: It was YOU that made the "Strange Tree" running joke possible. It doesn't exactly say "Strange Tree", but it's close enough and so bloody random that it had me in stitches laughing of such a comment (especially since that sub-plot went... no where).

You'll find it on page 2 of chapter 1, near the top, I believe.

If I may also say, it was Vincent that then proceeded to... talk... to the "strange tree" (rather strange, but... yeah. Not as strange as the tree XD).

And for anyone that wants to know, I'm on page 10 of chapter 2, so about half way through it. I'll work on it again later in the evening, but for now, I have other work to attend to (been neglecting my game project for a few days). Either way, I should have the next episode within a few days, but after that, I'll be back in classes and it WILL take me longer to do these (especially if they do in fact get longer).

Either way, call that a progress update.

lol, i feel like the strange tree has become a thing in this.

Hey Cap, can we make the strange tree part of the finale? Maybe the thunder can boom loudly in the background too?

And Gavin, that was mindblowingly hilarious. Im sure everyone involved feels this way as well, but I didn't really see half of my plot-holes in writing. Admitedly, this was my first serious RPG with all of the noobiness intact, but still....

Anyways, thank you for the comedic readers perspective on this. Its something we dont get too often around here.
